  • Midwifery Home Birth

Community midwifery prioritizes relationship-based care, offering a safe and personalized alternative to the traditional hospital experience.

Individualized & Unhurried: Longer appointments ensure time for education, questions, and deep connection.

One-on-One Care: You work directly with your midwife, ensuring continuity and trust.

Shared Decision-Making: We utilize informed consent, honoring your autonomy throughout the process.

Safety-First Approach: Continuous health assessments with established protocols for collaboration or hospital transfer if necessary.

    Prenatal Care

In-home prenatal visits focus on your physical health and emotional well-being.

Comprehensive Monitoring: Regular physical exams, fetal monitoring, and the ordering/review of labs and ultrasounds.

Holistic Guidance: Ongoing education on nutrition, movement, and birth preparation.

Standard Schedule: Visits occur every 4 weeks through the second trimester, increasing to every 2 weeks at 28 weeks, and weekly from 36 weeks until birth.

    Homebirth & Labor Support

We provide skilled, physiological labor support for low-risk pregnancies within the comfort of your home.

Attended Care: On-call availability from 37–42 weeks, with two licensed midwives present for your birth.

Safety & Equipment: Continuous maternal and fetal monitoring, equipped with emergency medications and stabilization protocols.

Seamless Transitions: Established emergency plans and hospital collaboration to ensure a "continuation of care" should a transfer become necessary.

    Postpartum & Newborn Care
    (The First 6 Weeks)

Postpartum care is a cornerstone of our model, focusing on the recovery of the mother and the thriving of the newborn.

Intensive Early Support: In-home visits at 24 hours, 3–5 days, 1–2 weeks, and 6 weeks to monitor healing, uterine involution, and mental health.

Lactation & Adjustment: Dedicated support for breastfeeding, newborn behavior education, and family integration.

Newborn Wellness: Comprehensive exams, weight monitoring, and metabolic/CCHD screenings performed by informed choice.

Pediatric Coordination: Seamless referrals to pediatric care and hearing screenings.

  • Supplemental Care

    Option 1: Collaborative Midwifery
    (Supplemental Care)

Designed for those under the care of an OB or hospital midwife who desire the "Midwifery Model" of high-touch, in-home clinical support.

Prenatal Support: Up to 8 in-home clinical visits including vitals, fetal heart tones, and growth checks. Includes deep-dive education on nutrition, labs, and birth planning.

Postpartum Recovery: 3 in-home clinical visits for maternal physical assessments, newborn wellness checks (weight/jaundice), and feeding support.

Advocacy & Education: Focused guidance on informed consent for hospital procedures and preparation for non-medicated birth.

Communication: Secure email access for questions between appointments.

    (Requires concurrent OB/Hospital Midwife care)

Option 2: Labor & Birth Doula Support

Designed for families planning a hospital birth who want continuous, non-clinical presence from home to hospital.

Preparation: Two in-home prenatal visits focused on comfort measures, partner coaching, and emotional readiness.

Birth Attendance: On-call availability and continuous support starting at your home in early labor through the birth at the hospital.

Immediate Postpartum: Assistance with the first latch and newborn bonding immediately following birth, plus one follow-up home visit within 14 days.

(Limited availability based on Midwife calendar)

    Option 3: Midwifery Counseling Session

A one-hour deep dive for targeted, evidence-based education.

Format: 60-minute in-person or virtual consultation.

Focus: Holistic guidance on nutrition, hormones, sleep, or navigating specific hospital interventions.

Note: This is a non-clinical educational session; perfect for those considering transitioning to the Supplemental Care package.
